Message Memo Notes for Drying Out from the Flood of Worry Part 2
You may download a PDF of the below Message Memo notes.
These questions are designed to help you understand how God’s Word applies to your life personally.
1. (For Family Group Leaders: Though this is the first question each week it is the most important one. This question allows you to hear what people have generally taken away from the message.) What was encouraging or challenging to you from this week’s teaching?
2. There is a crucial difference between living with God-glorifying concern but not crossing the line into Glory stealing worry.
The line can be seen like this:
God Glorifying Concern Glory Stealing Worry
Faithful to what God Fretting over what I
has made me responsible have no control over
Apply this to: a) your finances b) your health c) parenting
3. In what circumstances or situations in life is your faith inclined to be “absent”?
4. What promises of God have you memorized that help you trust God instead of worry?
5. As you engage in prayer in the coming days, be very intentional about asking with thanksgiving. It would help you, if you took time to list all that you can be thankful for in situations that you have not given thanks for to this point?
